Pchum Ben Festival , also known as Bon Tvat Samas, is a festival that Cambodians often celebrate. 🇰🇭 In the rainy season, this festival lasts for 15 days, from the 1st of Roach to the 15th of Roach, which is September Or October. Roch 1 to Roch 14 is the Dak Ben festival, while Roch 15 is the day of Pchum Ben or Pchum Thom Celebration. This festival is dedicated to the souls of ancestors who have passed away to the next world and take food give to the monks who are waiting for the rain at the temple. During Pchum Ben, the elders came to stay at Wat Samathan Monks clean the temple. Some people take turns for 15 days or we Called Kan Ben Day. On each day of Kan Ben, ceremonies are held, such as at night, when Buddhists gather to offer drinks to Monks and elders to worship the Preah Ratanatray, invite monks to prosper and perform Dharma sermon . In the morning, food is offered to the monks to dedicate to the deceased ancestors. Gone and the reunion of all distant relatives.
